New to In-ratio machine

I am about to receive the In-ratio machine and I am testing my PT-INR once a month in the Lab (lately pretty stable @ 2.5 with 16 mg per week).
How often should I check my PT-INR when I get my machine?

Depends. Once a month if your happy with that or if your on Medicare, test once a week. Just depends on what you can afford to do or what your insurance will pay for. Weekly gives you ultimate control, but if your not fluctuating that much, monthly is fine.

If there is no extra cost, it seems to me that weekly is best. In the year I have been testing I have registered stable results, but there were a couple of times of substantial fluctuation. I felt fortunate to catch them after only a few days, then adjust right away.
