New surgery date

Hello everyone, hope all are doing well.
I just wanted to update my surgery date.
Because of New Jersey's medical malpractice
protest beginning next week my surgery has
been moved from tues. the 4th to friday the 7th.
So far.
The waiting is something else.

It's been in the newspapers about this strike/sick-out or whatever they are calling it, they are doing this to get their malpractice insurance lower, or they might be moving out-of-state.

Waiting is tough enough without them delay a few days, keep yourself busy, that's how I survived the waiting.

And prayers will be flowing your way on the 7th

Waiting is the hardest part. The funny thing is, when it's Friday the 7th, you'll actually feel calm beleive it or not.

Rossman said quite a mouthful, "the waiting is the hardest part!!!" He's absolutely right. Please keep busy and try to rest...Tyce was able to sleep like a baby, I was up all night worrying!!! He never had any doubt, I had much-----Thank goodness for this wonderful site, huh?

I JUST WANT TO WISH YOU GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEK. I WILL BE IN DISNEY NEXT WEEK. I SURE THAT YOUR SURGERY WILL GO SMOOTH AND YOU WILL RECOVER IN NO TIME. LOOK AT ME I AM ONE MONTH POST OP AND I AM GOING AWAY WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED. STAY POSITIVE. MOVING THE DATE IS NO BIG DEAL JUST DON'T DWELL ON IT.

hi al!
i remember when joey's surgery was postponed a week as a result of 9/11 (his surgery was supposed to be on 9/12). we were both upset (because we had mentally prepared for the 12th), but also happy because it was "found time" for our family.
we tried to keep busy and just be together while waiting for the 20th to come. it's so difficult, the waiting,
please know that we will all be here to keep you company while you await your date.

Yes the waiting is the worst.

It seems that more and more I hear
of surgeries being cancelled and
rescheduled.
