This sounds very promising. Is it just me, or does is seem that Cedar-Sinai is always in the front with heart research?

Unless we hit some type of road block with this that is unforeseen, this will be the future of healthcare not just heart. Medtronic is working on a pacemaker that is smaller than your pinky nail. It would be implanted directly into the heart. To take this a step further, in the next 20 to 30 years its possible that pacemakers will be a thing of the past altogether because they will be able to repair and regrow sinus nodes, they are already doing this in mice with good results. NO MORE HEART BLOCK! I'm telling you, exciting times. Tissue VS Mechanical will be a thing of the past.
