Chevy man

We went to see the new surgeon today. I feel pretty comfortable with him so we set a new date for next week, Thursday 12-04. The results of the bone marrow biopsy showed no reason for the low blood platelet count so I will get a platelet transfusion directly after surgery. Time to get mentally prepared again!

Well now, I put you back up on the calendar. Hope I didn't jinx you by doing that. ;)

Good luck. I'm sure your a little jumpy now that its less then a week out.

Way to Go!

Way to Go!

Good going Kelly!
Hope things go GREAT for you. At least you don't have a great length of time to wait.
PS: I suspect you are a little jumpy cause I am. You are going to beat me by one day!

Hey Kelly,
Glad to hear you have everything set again. I hope you have someone to keep us posted on how you are doing. Best of luck!
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Take Care

Dave

Hi Kelly,

I'm glad you are no longer on hold. I am also very glad that your other tests didn't uncover any problem that is going to delay this any longer for you.

Let's hope and pray for a good journey from this point on out. You still have someone to post for you, right?

Best of luck. That's the worst having to delay surgery when you are mentally prepared. May it all go smoothly this time!

Heather

Kelly,
I'm hoping that all systems stay "go" for next Thursday. We'll all be thinking of you!

Kelly,

Good luck next week! Will keep the "prayer lines" open for you...as well as the others facing surgery this December.

Heh...your post reminded me that it was a year ago this coming Tuesday (Dec 2...a Monday last year) that I had the stress test that "verified" that I needed another surgery...which then took place about a month later on 01/06/2003 (a Monday).

Heh...irony rocks...and time does fly!

Peace...always,

Well, things are just hopping on our little website, aren't they??? Lots and lots of surgeries this month - docs must need to buy really really nice present for their families. :D

Kelly, I'm glad you got scheduled soon. Make good use of the next couple of days and enjoy yourself. Eat drink and be merry.

We'll all be praying for you and waiting anxiously (hint) for someone to post for you to let us know you did well.

Best of luck - may your mountain be a molehill.

Thanks everyone!

My wife is registered here as ladybug so she will let you all know how things are going from time to time when she can. We go to the hospital for all of the pre-op stuff tomorrow then one day to relax and make the final preporations.

It is a great feeling to have all of you behind us while we go throught this tough time.

Throw in a few extra prayers for my brother-inlaw! He recently found out that he needs to have bypass surgery. Maybe even on the same day as my surgery.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving holiday! I ate to much and slept through one of the football games I wanted to watch, but I had already figured that would happen. LOL!!

Hey Kelly,
I have lot's of prayers for you and your brother-in-law. Get through the hospital pre-op stuff and try to have a great day on Wed. Then Thursday will be here and before you know it, you will be on the road to recovery. If you are like me this waiting as we get to the end is a royal pain in the .....
Anyhow we will be with you all the way and can't wait to here great news from your wife.
Steve

Kelly,
Wishing you all the best and a smooth ride on Thursday,
God bless,

John
