I just got back from having a C.A.T. scan early this morning. I had made an emergency run yesterday afternoon to my oncologists office because I was experiencing extreme pain in my upper stomach and in the part of my back where my right kidney lays. The pain feels like I've been kicked in the stomach by a extra large horse. This has been going on for about a week and continues to get worse each day. I had just had it yesterday so I broke down and called in! My pain tolerance is very high so the nurse said she knew that I really must be hurting for me to call them. From what the oncologist put on my order form to the radiologist (he must think I can't read!) he thinks I may have cancer in my remaining right kidney. Scared, to say the least! ! Now I waiting for the results. Please put me on your prayer list. I hate to think about loosing my remaining kidney and then going through chemo again, besides maybe having to have a kidney transplant or be on dialysis the rest of my life. I really believe the Lord won't give me more than I can handle, but I sometimes I sure question him.

Sending all our prayers your way, Glenda and hoping for good results on the C.A.T.

Glenda,
You are in my prayers each and every night, and this possible complication is NOT on our agenda. Maybe the good Lord doesn't think I'm serious in my request, so I will step it up a notch.

I know you will remain positive while you await the results; you are one of the strongest people I've ever encountered.:)
Love,
Mary

Oh Glenda--

I'm am so sorry to read this post. You will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope it's something less traumatic than a recurrance, maybe a stone or something like that.

Please keep us posted.

God Bless.

It sure seems as if some of us are continually tested and I for one, would like to know why?

My prayers are out to you. Maybe he still listens to me, but I sometimes wonder myself.

Hi Glenda

You will absolutely be in my prayers. Please keep us posted on your results. Don't panic.

Evelyn

Glenda,

You have my prayers and positive thoughts coming your way. You're such a strong, positive woman I'm sure you'll get past this hurdle with flying colours. Hope it turns out to be a molehill rather than a mountain.

Gemma.

Glenda, you are in my prayers. Hang in there. You are right that God never gives us more than what he equips us to go through. Part of your equipment right now is VR.com and all the people who have come to love you. You are in many prayers this day I am sure.

Ditto all the above, Glenda. You're in my thoughts and prayers. This is certainly very trying and scary; best of luck.

Thanks everyone for your kind words & prayers. You all mean the world to me. I thank God everyday for bringing me to this web site. I will keep you posted.

Shelia, I lost my gallbladder a long time ago. In fact, I don't have many organs left that I can afford to loose. LOL
