I just got back from having a C.A.T. scan early this morning. I had made an emergency run yesterday afternoon to my oncologists office because I was experiencing extreme pain in my upper stomach and in the part of my back where my right kidney lays. The pain feels like I've been kicked in the stomach by a extra large horse. This has been going on for about a week and continues to get worse each day. I had just had it yesterday so I broke down and called in! My pain tolerance is very high so the nurse said she knew that I really must be hurting for me to call them. From what the oncologist put on my order form to the radiologist (he must think I can't read!) he thinks I may have cancer in my remaining right kidney. Scared, to say the least! ! Now I waiting for the results. Please put me on your prayer list. I hate to think about loosing my remaining kidney and then going through chemo again, besides maybe having to have a kidney transplant or be on dialysis the rest of my life. I really believe the Lord won't give me more than I can handle, but I sometimes I sure question him.
