Hey no west coast teams here:confused:

Lets see we're WCC fans--have had season tickets to Saint Mary's BB for 12 years now. Was very disappointed that they lost to Gonzaga, but will still root for the WCC team.

If not Gonzaga, I'll go for Stanford--grew up in thier back yard in Redwood City.

Re: West Coast teams: maybe there's a reason why they weren't on the list.
Gonzaga out -- Stanford out [really, this is getting boring -- what is it now, 10 times in the NCAA and can never get past the second round!].

Stanford

Stanford

Hey Marge
Sorry that my team Alabama put out Stanford.
We dont get there often so I had to rub it in a bit.

Lee, it's OK. Actually, I am NOT a Stanford fan. I am hardly weeping buckets. I am a UC (Berkeley) fan & we are supposed to hate Stanford. We don't
beat them very often in basketball. (Sometimes in football, like this year.)

I was expecting Stanford to do well, but I am just as happy to see they were an over-hyped team to begin with. They didn't look that good in the first round, even. Some people were saying the PAC-10 was pretty weak this year, and I guess they were right. All the PAC-10 teams (Arizona, Washington and Stanford) are OUT.

And in the ACC, my husband's alma mater, Maryland, is out too.

So now we will get out and walk in the nice spring weather -- better for me than hanging around the house watching basketball!

I'll tell you what

I'll tell you what

if the Illini plays like they did Sun. they are going to be pretty hard to beat by ANYONE. 24 assists and only 4 turnovers. Great game. Depaul girls play Tenn. tonight. Although I would like to see Depaul win (my daughter goes there) I think Tenn. has it. They did give them a run for their money in the regular season though.

I'm with Marge, now that all the west coast teams are out time to do other things!!!

I'm not really a Stanford fan--as I said earlier we are WCC fans. Was both glad and sad to see Gonzaga out, glad cuz the beat out Saint Mary's (Bob's alma mater) and USF (my alma mater) but sad to see the WCC team that made it go so fast. Ah well, there's always next year.

Wow..Am I on the right thread...Georgia Tech just beat Ok.... Now..it's Duke against U of Conn. On now....My hubby is the biggest Georgia Tech fan in all of Georgia. Baseball caps, ect..He wears them with pride..with all the other U.of Ga. Bulldogs ragging him. Even went to a Clemson ..Ga. Tech football game and sat with all our Clemson friends..on their side. My kitchen is full of bumblebees.....Ga. Tech logo..so..Here we go..I'm sure I will hear from some Duke fans..Come on Ga. Tech. :D :D :D :D :D BTW..You have to be smart to go to Georgia Tech.So the basketball players you see playing all have a high grade point average. :) :) :) :) In other words..they can spell CAT.. :D :D :D Bonnie

Hey Bonnie,

Halftime right now and Duke is ahead. I do want Duke in the final but I want Georgia Tech to win it all. I guess that I have the normal TarHeel feelings kicking in here! :D
