MyChart online service

I went to have my INR drawn today and they asked if I wanted to have internet access to MyChart which is new for their clinic. They gave me printed instructions with a starting access code and I filled in a few lines then chose a password and login name. With this feature you can schedule appointments, get your lab tests and all areas of your chart. I wonder if others are beginning to use comparable internet access. Very easy and helpful. My lab results were in the computer ready for my viewing by the time I drove 10 minutes to my home.

I got so excited a couple of nites ago when I saw they have this feature on the Cleveland Clinic site so I filled out all the requirements but then got a rejection notice. Even though I have a clinic cardiologist and surgeon I was not eligible because you have to have one of their doctors as your primary care. What a let-down that was!!

Happy for you; wish all hospitals had this available to everyone.
