Well I saw my cardiologist one last time before I go to Duke. He added Coreg (again) to my growing list of meds. I pressed him as to which condition of mine is life threatning and he said the cardiomyopathy in my case is most severe. he said Im at a stage 3 now. Im dreading going to Duke but I feel Im not getting better and still question if mitral valve replacement will help symptoms. He said it may make my problems worse,but he is willing to let Dr Bashore make that decission. Also told me if Coreg doesnt help with arrethemias, a pacemaker may be warranted. Its refreshing to have a doctor spend so much quality time with me and reallly listening to me and telling me in all honesty he is not sure why Im detererating so quickly. Any thoughts? Anyone at stage 3 of cardiomyopathy? Any suggetsions? Alicia
