Hi Everyone!

Well, I guess I have had a minor set back. Went in on Wednsday, had the cath done, but the blood tests show that I have a very low platelet count. Have had a few more tests including a bone marrow biopsy. The Cardiologists sent me home for the weekend awaiting the results of the biopsy. So it looks like my surgery will be done either next Wednsday or Friday.

I also learned after the cath that I will be having the tricuspid valve repaired along with the pulmonary valve replacement. So here I sit again, waiting and waiting.

Has anyone heard any news on Joey yet?

Talk to you all soon!

Hi Kelly,
I know you have to be pretty disappointed having had yourself all Psyched up to go and now everything changes. Well you don't have any control over it some hopefully you can relax a little and enjoy what's left of the weekend. Let us know what you find out.
Steve

Hi Chevy Man-

That's a disappointment. There are a few members who have had surgery delayed. It's the last thing you want to have happen once you are ready to go, but it's much, much better to sort out any potential problems before going into surgery. You'll be rescheduled very soon after the results are known.

Joey is doing well. If you look at Post Surgery, you'll see Ross's post from Sandra, Joey's wife.

Take care.

Hi Kelly
