is finally here and just like her mama (a very organized, efficient school teacher) she is right on time. Maddie is my second granddaughter. She arrived at 11:54 this am. My daughters' due date was today. And just like her mama Maddie was right on time. Fast too. Her water broke but she wasn't having contractions so they induced her at 8:30 am. At 9:30 she was dilated to 2 at 10:30 she was dilated to 6. At 11:54 little Maddie made her appearance all 8lb 5oz, 21" of her. Black hair and olive coloring. Mind you this is her first child. I thought it happened real quick. Mom dad and baby are doing wonderful. I was outside the birthing suite when she entered the world and I heard her first cry. Just like my first granddaughter. These are the most amazing things that have ever happened to me. This is what it's all about.
