Hi, everyone.. I would appreciate some prayers and good thoughts, my little Maltese collapsed on us last night and just had emergency surgery to remove his spleen.. He has an immune disease and it has just gotten worse. The vet just called he is doing well and they are giving him some blood. He was my little soul mate after my AVR and I hope he does well, my heart feels so worried... Thanks to all of you.. Rose

You certainly have my prayers. Our 4-legged friends can provide us with support that humans cannot. My beloved cocker was by my side the whole time I was sick and following my VR.

Wishing you the very best with your little dog, Rose. My Cairn has been absolutely glued to me ever since my surgery 4 months ago. He watches everything that I do and follows me everywhere. He's 6 and starting to get a little grey around the eyes. He needs to live forever for me!!

THere are many dog lovers here and everywhere. We all wish the best for you and yours!

Oh dear, I am so sorry Rose. I have a little dog also who is like a baby. And I would be terribly upset if something like that happened to her. It does sound as if she is rallying. So I hope there will be good news soon.

Prayers too Rose...for I have a little one..Papillon named Kallie..Age 6..He is with me all day/night.:) Cries if I leave him.. Just too hot to take him with me all the time. he will sit in his window box..until I return home.Never will eat..just so sad..Like..what did I do wrong? Why didn't you take me?I got him before my surgery. and he is the one that has kelp me going with exercise.. Up early and out..and several times during the day..:D Bonnie

our furballs are so loyal and loving. OUr big ol Miss Sally Sue is so big and beautiful. She is our guard dog! What would we do without her. You have my sincere prayers.

Isn't this the truth. Animals are our bestest buddies.

My prayers go out also.

Rose:

Sorry to hear that your little companion has had to have surgery. I'm praying he will continue to do well.
Animals ask so little of us, yet give us such companionship and comfort. Sounds like your Maltese is a sweetie.

There's no better friends than our little furry friends. I have a Bichon that is 12. She is going blind and can't get around very well because of arthitis but she is so precious. I know her time will come but I don't want to think about it. I will have her put down if she acts like she is suffering but so far, so good. I also have a Blue Heeler and a cat. All three of them lay at my feet and follow me everywhere I go from room to room, even when I'm in the bath tub. My prayers go up for your precious little friend and you too.

hi rose,
i hope your little maltese feels better. i know how it can be_ we have a golden retriever and a mini poodle_ they are like children to us. we've lost a few over the years, but have never lived long without a new dog... house is too quiet and empty. they are such little loves.
you are both in our prayers.
please keep us posted on his progress.
be well, sylvia

Hi Rose

Consider them done....they actually are...and I will keep you both in my prayers till that pupper is home again with you.

They are our children in coats, you know...........
