My Friend Bruce....

Hi Gang,
I am sorry that I haven't been on that much these past few days, but I have been with my friend Bruce, the one I asked for prayers for back in January along with prayers for his mom who had a stroke in November, well, I need to ask for more prayers as Bruce's mother is going to pass away within the next few days. The doctor has said that she has started the actual dying process and that it will be within the next two to five days. Could you please all say a prayer for the peaceful passing of this wonderful woman? She is like a 2nd grandmother to me, and she has had a rough road throughout life. Could you all also say a prayer for Bruce and his family as they get through this sad, sad time? Thank You All In Advance, Harrybaby666

Yes Harry, they can count on mine. I really hope she's not suffering though since that's the thing people fear most when they think of death. Bruce's very lucky to have a pal like you, and once his mum has passed on, he'll probably need you more than ever. Take good care of yourself too and don't forget that you too have a heart condition.

Our prayers and good thoughts on their way. We just got back from visiting one of our Church Members who will probably not last thru the night. She was not able to acknowledge our being there but it was comforting to us and the family. There comes a time for each of us to "give up the good fight" and hear "welcome home, kind and faithful servant".

May God be with you, your friend Bruce and his Mother through this.

It is such a big help to know that between all of you praying, and all of her family gathering around that she will have a safe and comfortable passing, and Danny, I am so sorry about your church member, and I am praying that they have a safe and comfortable passing as well. It seems like God is calling more and more people home these days, and even though it's tough for those of us left behind, it's helpful and comforting to know our loved ones are no longer in pain etc. Once again, thanks guys for the support and prayers. Prayers are going up right now. As far as God calling more and more home now days. I just think with what we all have been through that we're more aware and maybe more concerned with loved ones and friends passing. I find myself witnessing more, explaining the plan of salvation, praying more.

Harry, your friend is so lucky to have you as a good friend. You can be there for him during these times of sorrow.
