My Cardioligist wants to do right by me .. and is calling for a second opinion

So today l had my follow up to start the work up for OHS and to my surprise was suggested by my cardiologist Dr.Zielke that an opinion and consultation from Dr.Stuart Hutchison Professor at the Libin center U of Calgary, expertise in echo cardiography and award winner in teaching cardiac medicine, Tedx calgary and author of 8 books & 80 articles to mention only a few of his accomplishments, including an accomplished career as a climber Everest K2 and so forth. She wants to do right by me and admits that l am one of her most perplexed patients /files if not the most .. complicated by my marked lung condition.
I see him in Lethbridge on Feb 23 and between them they will consult with me and decide which direction we go from here. Sighh !!
I truly am blessed and know that l am in the best possible care. Apparently (Professor) Dr.Hutchinson is the doctor and that my file would be sent to for review and directed to a surgeon from there. I feel blessed that l get a personal consultation basically delivered to my door. Doesn't get any more comforting than that. Thank you God.

I really hope this consult provides clarity on your situation and a clear direction in which to go, that you can get behind and feel that you are in the right hands. I'm glad your cardiologist is humble enough to Phone a Friend when needed.

Rough day .. In constant stress ! My chest is so heavy and so tight .. I went for an upper GI test today. My lung specialist suspects acid from refux leaking into my lungs causing yet again more stress on the heart. Follow that hospital appointment l had a New Family Phd.appt in which l was beyond comfortable with. After a quick once over detected what he described as a blockage in my coranary artery... And express to me to bring it to the attention of my specialist/consultation appointment at the end of the month. I am so exhausted sometimes but this blockage makes absolute sense to me. I have been complaining about symptoms far beyond vascular for almost 3 yrs. So how can in one appointment was it discovered and brought to my attention. ughh ! l felt so great after hat appointment and somewhat relived that's my chest pain numbness and throbbing neck may have finally been validated.
