DANIEL

Guys 'n Gals,

I am back from the Hospital yesterday with the CE Bovine which
was "implanted" on July 02 in the afternoon. Also had an aortic
ascending anuerysm "dacroned". Full cath on July 01. Feeling
pretty good. All went smooth - exactly, exactly as everyone told me in advance on VR.com. No surprises. I am movining around
quite well and sleeping OK. The thought of having to go thru this again, as I did not get a mechanical, does not bother me in the least. Maybe a mite, not a bunch.

Anyone, have any questions, etc - I am here and will do my best
to answer.

Cheers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel

Hey Daniel,
Glad to hear that everything went OK. Now just take it easy on your recovery and you will find that you get better everyday. Take Care.

Nancy and I were about to send out the hounds looking for you!

I'm so pleased to hear that all went well. Now, do the recovery thing and don't go overboard and end up back at the hospital. That is not a means of having any fun. :D

Hi Daniel-

I'm so glad to finally hear that everything went well for you. Congratulation on a good job.

Rest up and have a smooth recovery. Slow and steady wins the race.

Great news, Daniel. So glad that all went well. Now take it easy and do the work you need to do (that pesky breathing machine) and walk and sleep and you'll recover faster than you can believe. And go to cardiac rehab as soon as they'll have you.

Congrats and keep in touch.

Appreciate the kind thoughts and words of advice. I listen to
every word . Am taking extra care of myself. I will say it again, the
reason that I was able to get thru the whole friggin' processs so
smoothly (besides great medical attention) was due to the completely thorough pre-op info I received from peoples' emails.
This allowed me to be 100% mentally prepared. There were no surprisies. I knew what questions I wanted to ask at the hospital. The fear factor was kept as low as possible.

Thanks !!!

Daniel

Please don't go running off because it's over now. Stick around and give others some insight from your experience. ;)
