I'm glad that I knew that things were ok with Katie before I opened my email this morning and had five updates from her Carepage!

She should make it into a book. She has such a wonderful way of entertaining and telling a story at the same time- utterly delightful. That little Katie is such a charmer, I can't wait to meet her. And yes, Janet brought me to tears talking about the waiting room last year. I wasn't around then, but I can just imagine since my own waiting room experience wasn't long ago. Wow! Some of these heart moms have been through so much. I count my blessings every day. Thanks for the update, Janet. I enjoyed it so much!!

Heh ... those of us gathered for dinner when I was in Dallas TX in October 2004 commented about how much ENERGY Katie has. My goodness, if she did not have a heart issue ... she'd be MORE energetic ... and, quite frankly, I can't even begin to imagine how she has the energy she has now ... and how she'd be if she had MORE energy ... he he eh.


And, yeah, Janet ... get workin' on that book .

ANd thanks so much for caring about us! Ya know, for about a fraction of a second I thought about posting a little bit of that update on the post-surgery thread to celebrate our one year annivesary..............but then I got to thinking! Scary, I know. I figured practically everbody on here who loves us checks Katie's page anyway, so why take up space and duplicate it? Okay, just call me lazy! There the truth is out!

I am already going nuts (don't say it) trying to get us ready for our cruise to Alaska...........I think I will be too exhausted by the time we get on the ship to enjoy it...................can't seem to find a place that sells homing devices for Katie either! Hugs. Much love. J.

but if I must. We have not gotten into naming private parts yet, so Katie just assumes a woman's private parts are part of her butt. That word she knows and knows very well. You only returned the backside of my butt , not the front, so I can't really say for sure................nor would I really want to. The mole was bad enough! heehee! hugs. J.
