Hi all, I had my annual MRI yesterday on my heart, and in the results, there was something that I had not seen before. I'm hoping someone is able to translate what this means for me while I wait to speak with my cardiologist.
Anyhow, in the results, they stated "There is a perimembranous/inlet ventricular septal 'pouch' without visible ventricular shunting". I guess I'm wondering what this "pouch" is and what this statement means. The rest of the results seem non concerning, and they really don't state more about this pouch on the impression/findings. I don't think this is anything I should be concerned with, but just curious what it may mean.
Thanks,
