TROPICAL STORMS PHILLIPPE AND RITA OUT THERE

Here we go again! Rita is being watched, expected to continue west and go through Fl straits (between s fl and cuba) right into the gulf of Mexico in the next 24-36 hrs, where she may kick up her heels and grow strong and into a hurricane. sigh.

Please pray for a cold front to stop it.

Phillippe is still out there, too but they aren't saying too much about him just now.

We have just kept all our stuff (except a few plants) inside.

Just heard it on CNN..Rita..24,000 in the Keys..A huge Motorcycle Rally there..Most are leaving now.,,,..It's been No raining in New Orleans since Katrina..Gave them time to dry out..Pray, Rita does not go near there..Bonnie

no rain here either, since Katrina. Not one drop.

the morning after katrina passed S Flo, Son and I were driving to Orlando. There wasn't but a cloud or two in the sky. It was like Katrina took all weather & clouds with her towards Miss. and on up to Canada.

Always the day after the hurricane passes, it's nearly always sunny and clear.

Not a rain here, either..thank goodness..because, Helen, Ga. took a tornado that night..wiped out all of our trees above the village...Looks so bare..so Utility trucks have been able to come in and repair damage and get most of trees on hiilltops cleaned out and put in seed for bare areas....If it had rained..Our village would have nothing but mud on roads, ect...Still not out of the woods..until seed takes, ect....The river that runs thru..feeds into Lake Lanier..who feeds into the Atlanta area for water...The river looked clean today..We have a spot where tourist feed trout..and I let my Grandson buy the feed (25 cents) to feed the old-timers..who hang around..they are huge..and pray the river keeps running clean.. If it had rained after tornado..the mud would have run down and got into river.. and these Old-timers (trout) would be dead....Must be at least 100 of them..throw a handful of feed down..and they fight for it. :D ..I keep saying..I hope for no more rain....for a long time..Bonnie

Only 2 things I can say..no and no... nononononono  enough... ok thats more than 2 words..but you get my drift..

Just heard that Rita is planning to "PASS THROUGH THE KEYS AND SOUTH FLORIDA" on her way west to North Mexico and/or Southern Texas.....sure don't want anyone to get hit, but I don't think Fla or Ms or La can stand any more.....wish it would just die out, but I don't think that's an option.

Also heard that Phillipe is going to stay out over the ocean waters.....no threat to land.
