Hello Everyone!

As I posted earlier this week Jeanne had her mitral valve replaced on March 17 and as her husband Mark reported "come through the operation OK, surgeon described it a routine"

I have since received two more updates from him with more good news and thought I would share it will all of you.

I"m sure it would be helpful to keep Jeanne in your thoughts and prayers for a continued good recovery.

Thursday, March 19 12:47 amJeanne has progressed back to the ward late this morning. A great milestone.

She is feeling pretty poorly today, got put in a 4 person ward (pending a single becoming available) so finding the noise annoying and rest difficult to get.

However she is continuing with the physio and walking to the bathroom etc.

Friday, March 20 12:27 amnow comfortably in her own room, today has been much better, up and around - doing physio and laps of the ward as instructed, a shower and generally more with it.

Best Wishes Jeanne!

Sounds like she is doing nicely & I pray that she continues to do so. Tell her to be kind to herself & not to try to take on too much. There'll be time enough for everything later! :)

Way to go getting your own room, beats the noise and stuff of bed units.
Glad moved into own room.......continued prayers for a quick recovery.
