If you or anyone you know were in Viet Nam and have diabetes or prostate cancer you are considered to have a service connected disability and the VA will pay you. I have both and applied a year ago. I had to undergo three exams and rustle up all sorts of paper work, but today a check came for my disability back-dated to a year ago when I applied. It is not enough to live on but it is a significant hunk of change.

Ross - its not about warfarin so move it if you want.

It's About Time!

It's About Time!

Al, We are all grateful for your wonderful service here, but I would like to thank you for your service then as well! You Vietnam vets really got the short end of the stick! It is past time when you should all get the aid you earned in service to our wonderful country. I am so sorry to hear of your illnesses, and wish you the best! Brian

Thanks, Brian.

What really makes me feel good is when Vietnamese people thank me. They know how much worse their lives could have been (and in some cases were) after we pulled out.
