Just wanted to make a quick post from the hospital here to let everybody know that my surgery went off without any problems, and that I am set to go home either Friday or Saturday. Once I get home I will post more detail about my experience, but did want to let everybody know what had happened.

Long story short, the repair was successful, and everything is looking great right now. Got the chest tube out today.

I'll post this weekend to give a more detailed breakdown on what happened.

Take care everyone!

JEFF!

EXCELLENT news ... congratulations! It's good to see you posting!

Thoughts/prayers coming your way for a SUCCESSFUL recovery :).

How wonderful to hear from you.
Congratulations on successful repair. How great you are feeling well enough
to post.
Continued good wishes for a smooth recovery.
Please let us know how you are doing.

Excellent, Jeff; hope your recovery goes well too! Take care and post again.

Great news, Jeff! I was coming to see if there was a post about you yet. I knew you were in good hands with Dr. Petracek, but it is still wonderful to see your post confirming that all is well and that you will be heading back to the 'boro soon!

Thanks for updating Jeff, and we look forward to your quick return home!:)

Great news!!!! Glad to hear you are on the other side of the mountain and the repair was successful. I look forward to hearing the whole story when you get home. Best wishes for a smooth, uneventful, recovery.

Great news.

Best wishes for continued recovery in the hospital and for release with no complications. Your job now is to take it easy and don't strain anything. Healing from something like this takes awhile.

Great news Jeff! Glad to see that the repair was successful. Now remember to pace yourself and allow time to recover.
