As far as I know, it's still only a trial with Mitral valve repairs. I haven't heard of anything for the Aortic valve as of yet. If I'm wrong, someone will surely correct me.

Like Ross I could be wrong, I haven't heard of anything like the clip for other valves. I believe the mitral valve is the valve that tends to be able to have more repairs than replacement, usually the aortic valve needs replaced. They are working on min invasive or percutaneous (cath) replacemtns for other valves, but off the top of my head I can't think of anything for repairs like the mitral clip. If it helps The names I know of for the percutaneous Aortic valves replacemnts that are in trial is the Edwards Sapien and Medtronic Core valve

When I was in the 'valve was getting worse' stage, my cardio spoke about the mitral clip with me and said he was not impressed with it. All he'd seen and read left him unenthusiastic for his patients to consider it.
