Holy crimeny...it bugs me when I learn about something I've missed...or will have to miss...or can't get to for whatever reason (another event, other commitments, etc.).... Happens all the time, I know...just too much going on in life...and too much to "take in". Even so, it still bugs me...he heh.
Below is a very SHORT list of events I've missed or will miss this year...I've missed a bunch more, of course...can't do (or think of) everything, though if I could, I certainly would!
ACHA CONFERENCE, May 2008:

Yeah, I was in the Philadelphia area this year, but in August, not May.... Depending on where the next one is, I hope to get it into my schedule that year, since I haven't attended one yet...!

I missed this because of the ValveReplacement/ACHA Chicagoland Mini Reunion that day in Geneva IL. As soon as I know when this will be next year, I hope to add it to my list of events to attend! Maybe we could make this a "fall gathering" next year of sorts for this area...hmmm....
50th ANNIVERSARY, MEADOWDALE INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY (NOW RACEWAY WOODS), September 27, 2008:

I'll miss this because I'll be at the NMCOA Mini Meet in Stillman Valley IL. Originally, the 50th anniversary was scheduled for September 13-14, but thanks to the all day rain Saturday, followed by the most-of-the-day rain Sunday (thanks to Ike), it was re-scheduled for September 27:
