Mild cheat pain/ache

I've had mild chest pain/ache occasionally, how can you tell the difference between stress and heart related problems? My ascending aorta is only 4 or so cm's so I wasn't expecting any pain from it. I have not had any operations of the chest.

I've also experienced the rollar coaster affect in my stomach, usually when laying in bed, so I expect stress may be the cause, it can play a lot of tricks.

Mark there is no sure fire way to tell. If in doubt, get it checked out. Better safe then sorry.
