I had a scare with a friend at work back on Friday. She has a history of migranes and had a dozy on Friday. We had to call in the paramedics, other co-workers, trying to convience her to get help. She had lain down on a couch in the lounge and fallen off it several times. She had gotten on the florr, crawling and trying to get up, hitting her head on the floor with each attempt. She would not listen to reason when people tried to convience her to go to the hospital to get help. She did go home, without getting help. And that night, Larry King was talking to survivors of mirgraine induce strokes. So please, if you are having a nirgaine headache, having problems, go seek medical attention. I have no idea if her daughter, 124, talked to her mother. I hope to maybe one day have the chance to tell her the risks she was taking to end her life without help. Her daughter would have been orphaned. So please seek help if in trouble. That made my day horrible feeling the rest of the day. If i need help, i will never refuse it. Just had to get this off my chest, thanks for listening.

I watched that same Larry King on strokes.

I used to have episodes where the floor felt like it was coming up to my knees, tilting, and then spinning around me...all while my head felt like it was going to pop off of my body. But I thought for me, it was normal, and didn't see the need to seek any medical attention.

I totally understand why your friend didn't get medical help, but in hind sight, it really IS a silly thing to do. What you think is normal and nothing to worry about, can really be something that can be so damaging to you and the people around you.
