Migraine while on Coumadin?

My dear friends: Do you have any idea about what medication I can take for migraines, since I am on Coumadin?
It starts with the popular "aura" or"blind spots" and so far they take about 1/2 an hour w/o headache.
I used to have migraines once or twice a month during years untill 3 years ago, which magically dissappeared!
But after my AVR surgery they are back!

I take extra strength Tylenol for mine currently because they are not as bad as they used to be. Darvocet works well also but it is a prescription.

As mine is just a visual disturbance I don't take anything, it passes in less than half an hour, normally about twenty minutes.

Yes, Sue, same than me, but the next day I am more stupid than usual!
Does it have anithing to do with AVR operation or cardio medication?

Daniel, my GP put me on an every other day Plavix along with my normal coumadin dose, and mine have virtually disappeared. I was having them quite frequently for quite some time after the surgery.

Headaches are a very complex issue. There is no "out of the box" solution. Is there a headache clinic at the medical center where you got your valve?

I don't know, but no intentions of visiting more physicians for a while!
