New to the forum and looking for some advice. I am 44 and just went for my annual physical and was told that I had an abnormal EKG and that I should see a cardiologist. I went to see him and I had stress test and a echo cardiogram. When he reviewed the data with me, he said that I did well on the stress test, but the echo cardiogram showed that I may have a bicupsid aortic valve. He said that the valve is regurgitating and that the size of the artery was 4 cm (should be 3.7 cm for my height). He now wants to do another procedure where he looks at the heart through my stomach to confirm the BAV and get a better measurement of the artery. He also said the my fourth ventricle is enlarged due to the regurgitation.
My question is, what questions should I ask him next? I am new to this disorder and am trying to get educated on it.
Thanks
