A friend of mine from church just e-mailed me and I asked her if I could share this with you all. In 2000 this family lost their daughter in an accidental drowing. She was three years old at the time. After you read her e-mail you will see why this is relevent to this site. Dear Friends,
After Michaela died, her heart valves were donated. Jeff and I
recently
discovered that the valves were disbursed. On October 23, 2000, one
heart valve was sent to Illinois. On November 14, 2002, another heart
valve went to Virginia -- my birthday is on November 15th. So you see,
Michaela lives on....
I just wanted to share this news with you as it was news to us. There
is
NOT a day that goes by that I do not think of Michaela. I miss her
soooo
very much.
