The day for the big event has been set!! Monday January 11th, check in is at 6 am OHS at 8. All very real now, even though this is my second go around in 2 yrs I find little comfort. In a prior meeting with my surgeon I inquired about the use of "Kryptonite glue" which helps in the "knitting" of the breast bone. He informed me that the results of the short trial period were very positive and would look into the posibility of having it for my surgery.During our meeting on Monday I was told he would be using the "Glue". So great news, I will definitely let you all know what the outcome is.

Happy Holidays to All !!!

I hope you can spend some quality time with family and friends over the next few weeks, Johnny. I am sure even knowing what this OHS is all about (as you have been there before) may take the mystery out of it, but not the fear. I don't think you would be human if you didn't feel some trepidation. Just remember, that you are in great hands at the UOHI.

Will all be sending positive vibes your way and will be waiting to hear from you. Do you have someone who will be posting on your behalf as we are always anxious to get news post surgery.

That is great news about the Kryptonite. I wonder if you are going to be part of the study?

Very best wishes and positive thoughts to you,

Thanks for the heads up on the Glue.
Will definitely bring it up on my visit to meet the surgeon in January.

Who is doing your surgery?

Hope you have a warm and wonderful Christmas and New Years and that your surgery goes smoothly!

Johnny,
Best wishes on your re-op. I hope it goes fast and uneventful. Very cool info there about the glue. Enjoy the Holidays and please keep us informed of your progress and healing.
John

Good luck on the 11th, Johnny. That glue sounds very promising - I think you are lucky to get to try it out! Keep us posted and we'll keep the positive vibes heading your way.

That is way cool about the glue, am sending positive vibes and will look forward to reading about what an uneventful recovery you will have.
Jeanie
