Meringue help?

I've made meringue cookies for years - thought I'd color them orange and serve to my comrades in pain at Cardiac Rehab for Halloween.

My question: has anyone made meringues with Splenda? How's it do? Any special handling required?

Ive made them, not with splenda though..sounds good I may try it as well..
