Just wanted to start this thread now as I'm not sure how much I'll be on in the next couple of days. We are having about 10 people join us for 2 days for New Years at our cabin. I expect to be totally crazy (I'm already half way there) by the time they leave.

I hope that all of us enjoy a healthy, fantastic new year. I don't know if I know of a group of people who are more deserving. Cheers to you all!

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope it's a wonderful, healthy year for everyone. I'm starting out really great so far. We will be spending the night with our kids playing card games and some new ones they got for Christmas. No drinking, but good clean fun. Then on New Years day going to a family reunion on my brother's family side. He passed about five years ago but his family still tries to get together about once a year and we always try to go. He's got five kids and they come from all over the world. It will be nice to see them all.

Happy New Year to everyone. I think we are just going out to eat at our favorite Mexican Restaurant, have a pitcher or two of Margaritas and then I will attempt to stay awake until midnight to have a glass of Champagne with hubby. Tomorrow I will cook Black Eyed Peas and Collards with Mashed Potatoes and Fried Chicken for granddaughters. Friday it is back to work for me and a very busy Friday because it will be month-end,year-end and beginning of New Year all in one.

Ah POOP! I was just starting my thread in hopes of getting it done before anyone else could. You beat me to it.

I plan on having a few bloody marys, eating cheese and crackers and maybe slightly steamed cauliflower and broccoli, then sauerkraut and pork later tonight.
Lyn and I are going to do the usual. Hang out at home where it's safe! Too many idiots out on the roads today/tonight. As with every year here in Stark County, I wonder how many are going to test the system tonight? There are always a few that find themselves in the Swanson Hotel awaiting arraignment.
