Matt's going to England

tomorrow!! I thought it was hard enough to send him to college, now spring
break in London!!! lolol As stressed as I am, I am so excited for him to
see one of his dreams come true!! And to be honest, my stress isn't too bad
since Emma is there! lolol He will get to meet her and Chloe and hit the
Haunted Pub.

It's so exciting for him. Me?? I am going to have to buy more hair dye and
hope my nails grow back soon!!

I hope your son enjoys his trip to London. We went 12 years ago and loved it. I hope you can be relaxed and not worry too much. I guess he has probably left by now. Let us know how he's doing.

Good for YOU!! It is very difficult in these scary times to watch our children go about their growing up and to release them to their adventures. But it is SO important. Most especially, I would think, those who have had significant challenges. How lovely that he will be meeting some of "our own" over there!! The world becomes manageable when we have connections.

As for me, my children are thus far blessedly healthy (daughter has been echoed with no apparent defects, 2 older sons will be echoed this summer through a university research study) and still I worry!! The daughter has just flown to Boston to be with her dearest friend...both college freshmen. They will be doing the town of Boston on St. Patrick's Day and I will not stop worrying about her until I hear from her tomorrow!! Our 2 sons, both over 21, are home for spring break and will be out on the town tonight here in Portland (and things get wild here, too!) How do mother's get any sleep at all, I wonder!!!

Will enjoy hearing of your son's adventure when he returns. Trips to Europe make lasting impressions and are truly dreams come true for those who are able to make them. I'm sure he is wandering around in amazement right now!!

Does Matt have all my details Jeanne??? Am ready and onhand should he need anything at all as Dan is as much use as a chocolate teapot!! - Matt needs a mummy figure to make sure hes ok over here! LOL
Will most definately take photos if Matt makes it down to us/wants us to come see him inbetween visiting the Queen and all the London sites.

We've been gone for a few days (went to my mom's lake house. Good news, the lake survived Katie...........the house didn't, but the lake did ). I pray that you survive this trip............we know Matt will. We just hope you do, too. How exciting for him. Does he get to meet Sir Dan along with Princess Chloe? That would be worth the trip in itself...........
