I last talked to her around the beginning of February and she was scared. She was facing another surgery and pardon me, but I don't recall whether it was her forth or fifth, but she had severe reservations about it. That was the last I talked to this friend. Some of your will remember her fierce fighting in political policies when those created the flame wars.

I am so sorry. She will be truly missed here. May God bless her family and friends during this sad time.

I went to the web site and found her obituary there and signed the guest book.

I looked up some of her old posts. She'd already had four heart surgeries.

Deepest sympathies to Pegne's family and friends.

I remember Peggy...aye....

Very sad news, indeed. Lost touch with her the last couple years or so, even though she was just an hour south of where I am....another one I never met :(.

Thoughts/prayers going to Peggy's family and friends.....

To Peggy's family -

Thank you for reaching out to cyberspace to let us know of Peggy's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Peace,
Ruth

I was shocked to read this. I use to email Pegne from time to time. Unfortunately not in the past couple of years! :( We had the same surgeon for one of her valve replacement. Also one of her daughters went to DePaul a while back and we use to talk about taking in a basketball game together. Unfortunately, we never did. I am very sad. My prayers and sympathies for her family and friends.

So very sad. My Sympathies extended to her family. She was so young.

Can somebody tell me what screen name she used? I was hoping to go back and ready some of her previous posts. It's disheartening when somebody goes this young.

My condolences to the family.
