Hello Everyone!
Madison is thriving with her new valve! The kid is bursting with energy. We only thought she was active before. She still has not gone back to pre-school, but she is practicing at home for her ballet recital. She will rejoin her classes in a couple of weeks. We are getting close to getting her coumadin regulated. We had gone six days without having her checked, her INR was 1.8, so they upped her dosage to 3mg. Not knowing what it is really stinks. We are going to look into buying the Pro-time so we can just keep an eye on it from home.

Man I only wish I looked that great 3 weeks later! :( I didn't look that good 4 months later.

She sure is a sweetheart and a cutie. Take great care of her. She won't be small very long. ;)

So ballet you say. I studied modern dance for four years and dance choreography for a year. I use to teach mime classes for Bob & Myoko Thomas of the joffery. And an old boyfriend of mine was a ballet teacher. I also had 22 years of performing on the professional stages. Its always nice to see a new smiling faces. Glad she is doing so very well!!

Ah, thanks for the update and the pictures. I think this is becoming Madison's Fan Club Site!:D

Thanks for the new photos. What a sweetie.

She actually looks as though nothing about this whole thing has fazed her ONE little bit. Either a great actress already or one tough cookie.

When can I look forward to seeing her as a prima ballerina in the American Ballet Theatre?

What a cute picture! It's great that she is back to ballet class, that's a great form of exercise.:)

What great news on Madison! Keep the pictures coming, please.

l.8 makes me really nervous. I think your idea of a home unit is a real good one. It may make it easier to keep her INR in a therapeutic range.

Dad,

Thanks for keeping us updated on Madison's progress. She looks great and it made my day to hear that she is active and close to "normal." Please keep the pictures and news coming. She can be our poster child for valve repair :)

What a sweet little girl. I know how hard it was for all of us to go through this let alone watch a child go through it. Thanks for the adorable pics.

Your little Madison is a beautiful child - "cuter than a bug" is what they would say in Iowa (where I was born and raised)! Thanks for sharing the pictures. She looks the picture of health. Please keep us posted on her progress, to let us know how well she is doing.

God bless -

Christina L.

What a precious angel from God that you have. She's beautiful. Please enjoy her every minute because they grow up way too fast.

MadsDad:

Saw the photo the other day, couldn't find it again until I searched for your posts under your profile!
Anyway -- your daughter is darling! So vivacious and beautiful!

A home test machine will make your life -- and hers -- much easier. Do a lot of research on the different machines and talk to an anticoagulation care provider, like our Al Lodwick, to see what type would be best to use with a little tyke.

Hope the recital goes well!
