Hi All,

Just a quick note to say that I had my AVR operation on 01/10/03 and everything went fine! I was kept in hospital for a little longer than anticipated as my temps kept going up and down and there was a threat of infection which was treated with i.v antibiotics as a precaution. Thankfully all this was unnecessary as the threat of infection was unfounded. I came home last monday (03/11/03) and am coming around nicely. I'm still a little sore and do get tired a bit but overall I'm very happy with the way things went.

Walking every day for about 20mins and hoping to get back jogging and cycling early next yr.
