I saw my Orthopaedic surgeon again today..(same one who gave me a cordisone shot for my left shoulder a few weeks ago and pain was gone in hours)..today for tingling I have had in my right hands for several weeks... In the past few days..I have had pain in several parts of the arm..depending on how I sleep, sit, ect.....and tingling has moved up towards my elbow.....Hubby and I are leaving Thursday for Wisconsin...to help celebrate his aunt's 100th birthday....and I was wanting to help with the driving. He is aware that I have a mech. valve/coumadin.....so gave me Lyrica..2X day..and pain pills..Tramadol...as needed..... and wants me to have a Emg/ncs..nerve conclution studies when I return home... I have never had to take meds since my surgery..so I am wondering if this Lyrica might affect my INR?..Bonnie

Bonnie:
I have never heard of Lyrica before your post. So sorry that you are still having difficulty with your shoulder. I did several searches and found nothing to show that Lyrica has an interaction with anticoagulation. I did find more information on the drug and its uses. Hope this helps.

The few people that I have seen on the combination have had no problems. The Tramadol might make you sleepy. Could be a factor on long drives.
