Today is my 6th anniversary for my MVR. Everything is looking real good!

Just wanted to thank you all for your support and friendship.

"Luck of the Irish"? I've always been a bit puzzled by that term. The luck of folks who live on an island where it's nearly always drizzling or raining, your ancestors grew potatoes because then you'd at least still have something left to dig out of the ground after the Brits burned your house and farm down - at least until the Potato Famine hit - and where for 800 years there's been ongoing sectarian violence.

Reminds me of an old blues song, "If it weren't for bad luck I wouldn't have no luck at all."

BTW, I'm half Irish.

[MVR means Mitral Valve Replacement? I'm not familiar with many of the acronyms around here. If so, I had mine replaced two years ago.]

I guess St. Patrick's day is a good day to have VR surgery...if there is such a thing as a good day to have surgery. Today is the 1 year anniversary of my Ross Procedure. It's hard to believe it's been a year already. May the luck of the Irish continue to be with us!

Gosh, doesn't the first weekend in December 2000 seem like ages ago? That was when Gina and I first met....the VR.COM reunion in San Antonio.
