I had 6 Lovenox injections. Beginning Thursday night at 8:00 and continuing every 12 hours until a total of 6 were completed. They were 50 each.
My problem is with only one of the injection sites. All the rest are great.. you can hardly see them or feel them.
One of the sites is REALLY painful, I have dealt with this since last Friday and it hasn't gotten any better, it actually hurts worse now. Icing seems to help with the pain.
I'm going to go ahead and call my Doctor tomorrow..but, I still want to know what you think about it.. what have you all heard about possible complications?
It started out with a big bruise, the bruise is moon shaped now and the rest of the 'circle' surrounding the site is red. There is a bigger knot under the skin that hurts with the smallest amount of pressure.
Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this or talked to someone with this symptom.
