Over here in West Australia its pretty cheap to get a custom licence plate for your car but i've never really had anything i wanted to put on one so have never bothered....however post surgery i was thinking of getting one but can't really think of much, the best i can come up with in my current state of mind are....

AVR SUCKS
TICK DONK
ZIPR CLUB
ROBOHEART

Has to be a Max of 9 Alphanumeric's

As most of you guys are over in the US and won't mind me stealing your witty licence plates (or ideas for them) has anyone seen or can think of a good one that relates to heart stuff.

BTW, the best plate i have ever seen was "BA BA", i followed the car for ages wondering what the hell it was meant to mean until i took a step back and looked at the car, it was a Jeep, a black one....BA BA BLACK JEEP....pretty clever....

As you can tell, with about two weeks til surgery i'm looking for a distraction

BTW, none of you auzzies on this site are allowed to steal the best ones before i've made my choice....

I always wanted one that said, "WHEEEEE!"
Now I know for sure and without doubt that you are indeed my evil sister. Lyn was pushing me around in the hospital in a wheel chair and we came to a down sloped ramp. She threatened to let me go and I said Wheeeeee!

I think ROBOHEART is kinda cool.

Not AVR SUCKS because AVR sure beats the alternative!

I don't think I've noticed any VR-related plates hereabouts. But it's a neat idea. Go for it!

how about
$100k man (or whatever the surgery ends up costing)?

BTW, haven't gotten the bill for the AVR yet, but just the pre-op cath cost $21K. Some neighbors I spoke to who had cath's done 10-15 years ago were shocked - said theirs cost only $7-8K. what are the costs like in Australia?

I vote for ROBOHEART too...unless you can figure out how to shorten 'powered by StJudes' to 9 letters

A pre-op cath in Aus. cost me nothing...my private health insurance covered it all. My 2 OHS's came in at around $80,000 total and I was out-of-pocket about $3,000. The $3000 was for all the little "gaps" that the insurance doesnt cover...quite annoying actually.

The cath cost $21K, but my share was a $35 copay. NOW I know why I decided to work for NY State!

Just the collagen plug to seal me up when they were done cost $305. I can post the rest of the breakdown if anyone's interested, but I don't want to hijak this thread too much.
