Well it looks like I may have a kidney stone or an infection. Had a kidney stone a few weeks after my heart surgery almost 3 years ago. My urologist appointment isn't until Monday, but I went to a walk in clinic since I started to get a fever. The doctor prescribed 500 mg of Levofloxacin for 10 days. I Remember reading that this drug can cause your INR to climb. I contacted my cardiologist office and they were ok with this since they have me testing my INR daily (they reduced my warfarin to get me in the lower end of my range.). Just wondering if anyone else has been on this drug before.
