Got this from Carson late last night. Sorry, but I was too tired to post anymore until this morning. Those of us planning on calling her, please take it easy and let the rest of us know her schedule. I don't want to bomb her with calls and have her all tired out, but she wants to, needs to , hear from us.

My sister is finally back in Louisiana.
She is doing therapy for the left side problems from the stroke.
But she is doing great considering the circumstances.
She is talking very well and has a good appetite and seems to be in good spirits. Give her a call if at all possible. If not

Nancy I've got nothing for Carson, that's the problem we've been having from the get go. He uses her account to post and then we are left to figure things out.

I'm going to call her soon and see if I can find out when it's convenient to call. I know when I was in Rehab, they kept me busy from 8:00 to 3:00. I suspect that she's doing something like that too.

I am so happy that we have heard something at least. I will hold off calling until I get a go ahead from you Ross. Please tell her though how very much we care for her and that our prayers have never ceased OK? Tell her we miss her!

I just tried and got no answer. I tried to reverse look up the number and no info is available. I'm beginning to think no matter what we do to locate her, the story is always going to be NO INFO! Maybe we should make that her new nickname?

I am so happy we finally got some info! I was going over it again last night trying to come up with another way to try to find her.

Ross, when you get through please tell her we miss her and I will keep her in my prayers.

I just spoke to Lettitia and she sounds wonderful. Of course she's chomping at the bit to get home. They say she may by October 1st. We didn't get into complete details, but she said they told her that had she waited another week, she would not have been here, that the graft would have undone. She wants a computer and internet access, so if anyone is in the neighborhood with a laptop, stop by and see her. I think she's going to break my record for length of stay. I know all too well how she feels right now. I was dying for company and someone to talk too.

She is lonely and would like to talk with any of you. It appears the best time to get ahold of her is after 3:00. If anyone else calls today, please check with her and ask because I forgot to. Room number 412. I really gotta get a system down for when I talk to people, don't you think?

I went ahead and called Lettitia and I too was encouraged. It sounds like she has made alot of progress but still has much to overcome. It was absolutely wonderful though to talk to her. She was never far from my mind when we just didn't know.

I just called Lettitia and she sounds great! She is anxious to get out of rehab and she is coming along just fine. She is walking with a walker and her she said her speech is greatly improved. I thought her speech was perfect.

She is looking to get out of rehab and go home on Oct 1st and she will be staying at her grandmother's home. She said that she has a lot of family support and that has really helped her come along. She misses her computer (I don't blame her, I did too).
