Barb and I used to be very active, especially with long distance cycling in the Rocky Mountains, in Canada, Colrado and New Mexico. Between heart surgery and polio I have really slowed down, but she has remained very fit.

We just got a new "Wii Fitness" game. We are both 61 years old. The Wii says I have a Wii fitness age substatially over my physical age. Barb, however is performing at a Wii Fitness age of 42, and keeps going lower as she uses the game.

I am left to wonder---how much lower can she go before I risk prosecution by sleeping in the same bed?

Actually I am very proud of her. And I will plug along as best I can.

I've been thinking about getting Wii Fit, but I'm afraid of what it will tell me. My friend said that hers told her that not only is she old, she is obese. She took it back the next day because she said that her mirror already tells her that!

Dennis,

Love overrules legalities! I believe you have nothing to worry about:)

I am curious to look up this fitness game which I have not heard of before and check my and my hubby's fitness ages :D

We own a Wii Fit game. My first age was 58 and it's been as low as 31 (rl age is 47) more recently. Yes, you do improve over time. It helped my real life snowboarding I did Friday (2/20) with my kids' annual school ski day. The age is related to how well you balance and how steady you are. What about a throwdown based on Wii Fit data? It might be fun. I proposed this a few weeks ago, but other life concerns (see the thread about our sick dog) got in the way of going further with it. Any thoughts anyone here?

LOL Dennis! I'm always rubbing Glenn's nose in the fact that my Wii Fit age is much less than his.

I think it has to do with the fact that he does terribly on the 2 balance tests they do that go into calculating your age. I wouldn't worry - I think Barb will level out eventually and not get any younger - so you may be safe. However, you may need to start referring to her as your Trophy Wife. ;)

Chris - I'll join you in a Wii Fit Throwdown!
