Left thigh banged...no bruise...but hard to walk

Hello folks. I was playin' basketball Tues. nite and some guy banged my left leg, about 5 inches above the knee, and since wed. morning I have trouble walking. I dont see any bruising but it stiffin's up all the time and it is hard to walk....wondering if I am in some kind of trouble cause it has not healed yet...anyone have a clue...thanks rz

Much the same thing happened to me eight days ago, although I was a clutz: I walked into a table. My right thigh was sore for most of last week, I limped a little. I kept looking for a bruise, which didn't appear until perhaps Wednesday -- I took that to mean it was a very deep bruise.

My pain is pretty much gone, I hope yours disappears too.

I got bumped in a car accident in Nov and they way they explained it to me was because of the coumadin, muscle bumps are magnified due to internal bleeding. I also did not have any bruises until a week later, but man did it hurt.

Was worried there for a while. Guess I should live...just gimpy for a while. Thanks for the info. See the doctor monday anyway for quarterly visit. Just got an echo and assume the report will be ok but it's always a bit scary. rz

Bruise still hampering me

Bruise still hampering me

jan 6th to the 24th...still have some nagging pain and lumpy leg. am happy cause it is a lot better and the bruising did come out a week or so later like you guys said. think i'm a gonna skip basketball for a few months to let it heal real good. thanks again youse guys are great.
