Yeah, yeah. I know it's been a really long time since I've posted. But I've been finishing up my master's degree (graduation is set for August 12th, but I'm officially done with all requirements) and have no other excuse other than laziness.

With that being said, I am flying to WV tomorrow to visit a friend. I have an almost 2 hour layover in Atlanta, GA from 10:06am-12:00pm. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone wanted to visit for lunch. If so, PM me and maybe we can arrange it. If not, it's no biggie. The idea just came to me and it sure is short notice. So I won't take it personally .

But I'm even more proud of my hubby. He graduated on May 12th with his ADN and is now working as a nurse on a tele floor! He takes his boards this Saturday and I know he's going to pass and soon be able to put RN after his name.

Last night I was on the verge of putting an APB out on you to see if you could be located. YOur ears were probably burning as I was talking to another mom about you - all good things of course. So glad to hear that you have just been lazy.........

Sounds like congratulations are in order all the way around..........oh, that is much too stiff..................YAHOOOOOOOO!!!! Way to go to both of you. I so wish I could say the same. The last two times I seriously started my master's I wound up pregnant..........guess I won't be working on that again any time soon! I'll hold off for menopause!

Hey, I can't wait until we are all together again in October. Cort, sure wish you were in Dallas on Friday or Saturday night, not Thursday, but we'll make it anyway. Hugs to you both. J.

Don't I wish... Unfortunately, his free time doesn't come in long enough spurts as of yet. Sure, they're giving him almost this whole week off to study for NCLEX (of course, the week I'll be gone!), but other than that he works 12 hour shifts just about every other day... Maybe once he's no longer low man on the totem pole (he's still an intern) we'll get more say in his schedule. But by then, I'll be back to working and there won't be time! Maybe, just maybe, next summer we can actually plan a big trip... The biggest trip we've ever gone on was to Disney World (and that WAS our honeymoon! ). There are lots of other places we'd love to go.

Well, I'm about to turn off my computer as I head off to the airport. I guess I came up with my idea (meeting up with people) too late... Good thing I packed a few books for the trip! I'll try to be sure and post when I return at the end of the week.

Well, Janet, my dear, you may remember he OFFERED to check 'em out for me when we were out taking pictures etc. the last time we all got together in October 2004 ... after the VR.com reunion in Golden CO. We were outside of the restaurant watching your darlin' Katie run around ... when he said he could check 'em out for me .

Yeah, I know. I didn't plan this one very well for a few people, but since I'm hitting some of the same places I did when I was out west in 2004, I wanted to do the "opposite" trip ... so, I'm starting with Little Rock AR to Dallas TX ... then back up through Oklahoma City, etc. ... instead of the other way around.... Sure hope Marsha and Suzy are able to join us as well ... along with some of our other new TX friends .
