Here's another thing that's different -- maybe it explains why all my bras are too tight. (No, they didn't give me implants while they were rooting around in there!)

I am at my pre-surgery weight, and I'm not retaining fluid in my thorasic cavity right now -- the massive steroids are keeping it away.

I hadn't noticed anything special about the way my clothes fit, but today I put on a dress that I haven't worn since surgery, and it's tight around the ribcage. Not the abs, buns, bust, shoulders.... just the ribcage area.

I remember back when I was pregnant an aerobics instructor telling us that sometimes women's ribcages never quite "shrink back" to pre-pregnancy size. I'm wondering if, once you crank open a chest, if it doesn't quite go back to pre-surgery size.

I seriously doubt men would notice this -- if their clothes fit this close, they would be the very stretchy kind. So ladies -- anyone get a little wider after surgery?

Well, after reading your post, I suddenly don't feel like I'm the ONLY one that this happened to!

Before my 3rd surgery in 2006, I swear to you I never had ****s! In fact, I didn't even have to wear a bra underneath some of my dark t-shirts and/or some blouses! Honestly!

After my surgery, I suddenly had ****s, but at my age, who the HELL cares! :D I would have appreciated these girls 10, 20 years ago! :D:)

My husband kiddingly says that perhaps the surgeon felt sorry for me & gave me implants while he was in there! Ha, ha! :)
