Hi all,
I haven't been on the site much lately. Just when my ECHO's were becoming routine and I was beginning to get comfortable in the chair in the waiting room (vacated by long time waiting room residents like Steve), this years result shows LA at 4.1cm. It has been going up since my diagnosis, but goes back and forth a bit (it's not that precise and different technicians measure slightly differently and so on). But the trend is there - 3.1 (2008), 3.4 (2009), 3.7 (2010), 3.5 (2011), 4.1 (2012). This time my doctor wrote "borderline dilated" in the report. I have a follow up appointment on Th, wondering if I should force the issue of seeing the surgeon again? I did insist on seeing the Stanford surgeon Dr. Miller after diagnosis, who had assured me that I have a few years. Maybe I should go back now and see what he thinks.
