Kind of cool.

My son just saw UN Sec Gen Kofi Annan get off a plane 50 yards from his desk at work. My son works for an Ad agency in Kansas City. Their office is the old terminal at what used to be the municipal airport and is now used as a private airport. My son's office is on the runway side of the building. Don't know how he gets work done. A few months ago the Blue Angels were there for an air show and he got to watch all their practices right from his desk.

Annan is giving his farewell address in Independence MO.

It would be cool. I would think he'd get kind of burned out seeing the things that he does, but hey, no one else gets to see that everyday.

That IS cool. Kinda reminds me of my days in the fast lane when I had an office (not political) in Washington. These days, I prefer seeing a mountain when I look out the windows.
