so of course here I am begging for prayers again.
Katie has had a hacking cough for over a week now.........not too bad, worse at night. Started out last weekend (of course!), ran a fever for two days which we kept at bay with tylenol. Clear drainage from the nose. Fever went away, but the cough arrived.........and won't go away. I think it's just sinus and allergy-related since we finally have gotten quite a bit of rain after our six month drout, but Don is concerned because her energy levels are down (almost in the normal range ) and she is getting winded very easily. We've even been noticing the blue tint again around her mouth, which we haven't seen that shade since pre-surgery..........well, except for the bruises covering her legs. I REFUSE to believe this is heart-related. IT's not, it's not, IT'S NOT (that's why I posted here under small talk instead of heart)!!!! Don is afraid it might be, but I am NOT going there. He has never had stopped up sinuses with that honker of his, but I stay stopped up from allergies half the year..........and I know how hard it is to breathe with a stopped up nose...................sooooooooo
please say a prayer for Miss K that this is just a spring cold or allergies and NOTHING ELSE!!! Will this panic mode never go away????............sigh!
Other than that, Katie is doing great, except she is back full-swing in her stripping mode. When I got home from work tonight, I thought she was actually dressed for once............until she stood up. She was naked from the waist down................thus, the butt naked phrase. Still strips and bobs naked for grape tomatoes. She is infatuated with the movie Chicken Little. You ought to see this naked little five year old imp dancing around singing, "If you want to be my lover, first you gotta be my friend.........." and "Tell me what you want, what you really, really want.........." It's a hoot! Her latest greatest thrill is trying to run down mom or dad or Trip with her jeep. Last weekend we were planting tomatoes and flowers. Katie discovered her old pot with her rock garden she had planted from last year. Since half of the rocks have actually emerged through the dirt due to wind and weather, Katie is convinced they are growing............maybe I can talk her into planting marbles, since I have lost most of mine.............
Thanks for the prayers. I hope and pray that reinforcements are not needed.
Much love. J.
