Wow, I was gone for 10 days and there were 153 new posts and a record setting 129 people on line at once!!! You guys were busy while I was gone 
We were in Washington up in the beautiful San Juan Islands visiting my mom. We had a wonderful trip....it's sure a long drive though (21 hours ), but well worth it. We got to do a lot of boating and crabbing!! We caught so much crab we didn't think we could eat it all, but my 14 year old son wouldn't let that happen! We also visited WWU (Western Washington University) while we were there, my daughter wanted to check it out since she's a senior this year and trying to decide where to go. A beautiful campus!! The San Juan Islands are a beautiful place to visit!! I would suggest going there if you've never been!!
We came home with a little something unexpected.....a new puppy!!! OMG, he's soooo cute. I've been wanting a little lap dog for some time now and well, we just happen to run into a lady with a puppy down at the marina one day and yes, we got suckered in!! We got the phone number for the breeder and the next day we had one too. He's a 3 1/2 mth. old Shih Tzu and he's a bundle of joy. How many puppies could you take on a 1,300 mile trip in the car and not have any problems? I'll have to post some pics of him soon. Our other dog wasn't too sure about this little thing running around and following her everywhere, but she's warming up to him. Our cat is another story
It's good to be home and back to VR again. It's going to take me awhile to get through all 153 new posts, but I'll get caught up eventually.
