wow, almost missed that one.. also didn't know about the mother passing.. i'm usually the news junkie.. but then I read she passed away in June.. that was a insane month for me.. i'm just glad they finally have a break in the case.. family can hopefully have some peace and closure.

i know, i heard about it today. maybe her father will finally have some closure. her mom found out about this, apparently, before she passed away, so there's a bit of consolation there.
still, how awful, all that time they were accused for jon benet's death.
how painful for them it must have been and now for him, alone.
it's a scary world our kids are growing up in today, right? sad for them.

Great news. One more sicko off the streets. I agree with you Sylvia. It's a crazy world to raise kids in. Actually today...my daughter wanted to know more detail on 9/11. I answered all of her questions. Told her I would do my best to keep her safe. Can't imagine having to worry about more children in this day and age

Yeah Ross I'm just not so sure. I mean, this guy was a schoolteacher but that was back in Georgia...JonBenet was killed at their home in Colorado. What was he doing there? How did he know the house? There are so many unanswered questions. I wonder how long they've known about this guy?

I heard on the news this morning that they are very suspicious that this is not the real killer - that he is making this up, but we shall see what happens.

Obviously we have to wait to find out but my suspicion is that he was in trouble in Thailand and didn't want to be in a Thai prison which are notoriously bad. I think he came up with the story to get sent back to the U.S.

I agree, when I was in the Navy, Thailand was the last place you wanted to be in trouble. My wife had one of her friends killed there, he was in the service and it is one of those things that you cant get any info on. I would admit to being on the hill in Dallas during the JFK assassination if it would save me from that place.

I also think if you want to know my opinion, that that child should not have been expoited like that by her parents. The way she was dressed in the video clips they have been showing. They are a far cry from Shirley Temple's first public appearances.

I realize it does NOT (so don't everyone get upset with me) excuse what happened or excuse pedophiles but, a 5 year old doing bump and grind type dancing, is just asking for problems. There are way too many sick people out there and this does not help to keep our children safe.
