Jeff is having surgery.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Jeff is having hernia surgery next Tuesday. It should be a fairly simple procedure, but you just never know. Please keep him in your prayers.

Will keep Jeff in my prayers..for his hernia operation.....Maybe some of the other male members can chime in...BUT..my S/I/L had a hernia operation that turned into a nightmare

..Lots of bleeding after he returned home...One is NOT to do any heavy lifting, ect.He took good care of his incision..Yet, he had lots of problems..had a re-op.. did good for several months..Then, AFTER, he returned home from Russia adopting our Grandchildren..Pain started again..This time an appendix operation..and yet, still more pain and another operation..to remove his appendix.

YES, ANOTHER appendix operation..Seems like they got all infection out..but LEFT the appendix.

..I know, it seems crazy..but, after his last and final operation..he felt better after 24 hours.Appeared it was his appendix all the time and NOT his hernia.

... I wanted my daughter to sue the hospital...but, with just coming home with 2 young children..she didn't have the time.His Mother worked in the hospital in the Insurance department and was able to help clear many bills...I don't mean to scare you..but..just a simple operation can go astray.

I know that Jeff will have to change his bandage, ect..often....Best of Luck..Bonnie

Thanks for the prayers!

I will be playing mother hen to him once again. I think I will have to hide his keys again to make sure he doesn't try to drive too soon. He said that " I don't really need anyone to go with me to the hospital". Yeah right, does he really think that he is going to have surgery and I going to just stay home?

I will update on Tuesday as soon as I can.

Oh Jeff buddy, can you hear me? I can tell you what happens when the repair FAILS because you simply wouldn't stay on the couch when you were supposed too. It hurts like HELL and feels like fire on the inside not to mention that you've probably just ripped a larger hole which means, you got it, MORE SURGERY!
